In May 2005, my fiance and I had a lovely wedding at Palmetto Bay Plantation. Everything was planned through the internet which could have been very stressful. Luckily Cecilia was very helpful in assisting me with finding a musician, photographer, hair stylist, and of course officiant. Everything worked out better than I could have hoped. My mom still raves over the coconut shrimp we had at the reception. The bungalow we stayed in was very romantic. I have wonderful memories of our wedding and reception, and feel sorry for brides that suffer through all the planning stress. Cecilia and the staff at Palmetto Bay Plantation took care of everything so I could focus on enjoying the wedding. We hope to return there soon.

Cable and I met on the Norwegian Sea cruise ship, and so we decided that we would get married at one of the ports on the same ship several years later. We had our hearts set on Belize and my sister-in-law who was living in Honduras talked us in to having the wedding at Palmetto Bay and told us that we would not be disappointed.... WOW !!!!!!! We had no idea it would be so beautiful. It was honestly like something you see in a movie, maybe better. The staff was so wonderful, and definitely the most accommodating people. We weren't even going to be there that long and they had the cabana set up so beautiful. My bouquet was something you would pay hundreds for.
Kudos to Palmetto Bay, we wouldn't have changed a thing.
